Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Tess Nelson, 5-8 So. Addison Combs, 5-10 Sr. Belle Combs, 5-5 Jr. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-55 Sr. Abbey Popham. Great Crossing coach Matt Walls countered with 5-8 Fr. Samantha Brown, 5-5 Fr. Kendall Kearney, 5-9 Jr. Claire Tierney, 5-5 Sr. Jenelle Henderson, and 5-6 Sr.Jaelle Henderson.

Lafayette won a close 65-62 decision over Great Crossing on the road. There were 10 lead changes and two ties in this game. Lafayette shot 44.7% from the field including 11 of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 38.3% from the field including nine of 26 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warhawks connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

Anna Clay Denton led Lafayette with 19 points including five three point baskets, four of eight free throws, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Belle Combs added 17 points including five of seven free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists. Abbey Popham recorded nine points including two three point baskets, and two steals. 5-3 Sr. Kierstyn Kelley chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets. Addison Combs added six points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Samantha Brown led Great Crossing with 20 points including five three point baskets. Jenelle Henderson added 16 points and eight rebounds. Kendall Kearney recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and five assists. 5-3 So. Emery Corrigan chipped in with six points including four of four free throws, and two rebounds. Claire Tierney recorded five points, nine rebounds, and three steals.
