Lafayette coach Vince Sanford started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Drew Biddle, 6-1 So. Cooper Kirk, 6-7 Jr. Tyler Hunt, 6-0 Sr. Eli Thomas, and 6-1 So. Ben Marsh. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 Jr. Jackson Stephan, 6-3 Sr. Kade Hilander, 6-5 Sr. Hassan Bush, 5-10 Sr. Trevor Evans, and 6-0 Sr. Kayson Brown.
Henry Clay defeated Lafayette by the score of 91-68. Henry Clay shot 61% from the field including 11 of 24 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.
Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 32 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kayson Brown added 17 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 6-2 Sr. AJ Dixon recorded 12 points and two rebounds. Hassan Bush chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds.
Tyler Hunt led Lafayette with 20 points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Drew Biddle added 17 points including four three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Eli Thomas recorded 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists. 5-8 Jr. KJ Jones chipped in with 10 points and two rebounds.
