Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Daeveon Adams, 6-3 So. Taeshawn Adams, 6-7 Jr. Felix Gonzalez, 5-10 Sr. Bryson Carpenter, and 6-1 So. Amari Owens. Eastern coach David Henley countered with 6-4 Sr. Sam Locke, 6-1 Sr. Andrew Key, 6-5 Jr. Sam Bird, 5-10 Sr. Tyler Freeman, and 6-1 Sr. Jack Donan.

Eastern outscored Bryan Station 13-4 in the third quarter on their way to a 56-45 victory. There were seven lead changes and three ties in the game. Eastern shot 55.3% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 35.7% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Eastern turnovers.

Sam Locke led Eastern with 15 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two assists. Jack Donan added 11 points including five of five free throws, and four assists. Sam Bird recorded nine points and seven rebounds. Tyler Freeman chipped in with six points, two rebounds, and two assists.

Amari Owens led Bryan Station with 21 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, and two rebounds. Daeveon Adams added 10 points and two steals. Taeshawn Adams recorded six points and two rebounds. Felix Gonzalez pulled down seven rebounds and blocked three shots.
