DuPont Manual coach Miguel Coleman started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Justice Decker, 6-3 Sr. Jared Tuvlin, 6-6 Sr. Ryan Shene, 5-11 Jr. Malachi Coleman, and 6-3 Sr. Joshua Darst. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Sr. Joshua Godfrey, 6-5 Jr. Vince Dawson III, 7-1 Jr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 Jr. Gage Richardson.
Great Crossing defeated DuPont Manual by the score of 82-74. DuPont Manual led 41-34 at halftime but Great Crossing rallied after the intermission for the victory. The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in the game. Great Crossing shot 61.1% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 DuPont Manual turnovers. DuPont Manual shot 54% from the field including 10 of 21 from beyond the arc. The Crimsons connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Great Crossing turnovers.
Vince Dawson III led Great Crossing with 24 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Junius Burrell added 20 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Malachi Moreno recorded 16 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, four blocked shots, and two steals. Jeremiah Godfrey chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.
Malachi Coleman led DuPont Manual with 28 points including three three point baskets, seven of nine free throws, five assists, and two steals. Joshua Darst added 16 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Justice Decker recorded 14 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Ryan Shene added 14 points including three three point baskets.
