Jackson South Side vs. Livingston Academy (Girls) Division 1 Class 3A Championship

Jackson South Side coach Brent McNeal started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Ti’Mia Lawson, 5-7 Jr. Kimora Currie, 5-10 So. Jaidynn Askins, 5-0 Sr. Albany Collins, and 5-2 Sr. Jakarrah Anderson. Livingston Academy coach Lesley Riddle countered with Sr. Halle Ledbetter, 5-10 Sr. Aleah Melton, 6-0 So. Keely Mullins, 5-6 Jr. Mallie Coleman, and 5-10 So. Ellie Butler.

Jackson South Side defeated Livingston Academy by the score of 62-52. Jackson South Side shot 46.5% from the field including four of six from the three point line. The Hawks connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Livingston Academy turnovers. Livingston Academy shot 42.2% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Jackson South Side turnovers.

Jaidynn Askins led Jackson South Side with 19 points, nine rebounds, three blocked shots, and five steals. Albany Collins added 18 points including four three point baskets. Ti’Mia Lawson recorded 15 points including 11 of 16 free throws, seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Kimora Currie chipped in with six points, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Ellie Butler led Livingston Academy with 26 points including 10 of 11 free throws, and three assists. Halle Ledbetter added nine points, 12 rebounds, two assists, four blocked shots, and three steals. Keely Mullins recorded nine points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Aleah Melton chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and three steals.

Bradley Central vs. Bartlett (Girls) Division 1 Class 4A Championship

Bradley Central coach Jason Reuter started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Kimora Fields, 5-9 So. Harmonie Ware, 6-0 Sr. Hannah Jones, 5-5 So. Avary Brewer, and 5-6 Sr. Sloan Carpenter. Bartlett coach Wesley Shappley countered with 6-2 Fr. Faye Williams, 5-8 Jr. Carrington Jones, 6-5 Sr. Mallory Collier, 5-5 Sr. Nevaeh Scott, and 5-8 Sr. Raven Sims.

Bradley Central defeated Bartlett by the score of 58-49. Bradley Central shot 50% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Bears connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Bartlett turnovers. Bartlett shot 29.8% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Panthers connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Bradley Central turnovers.

Kimora Fields led Bradley Central with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. Avary Brewer added 16 points including two three point baskets, eight of 11 free throws, and two steals. Hannah Jones recorded 10 points including five of six free throws, seven rebounds, and two assists. Harmonie Ware chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Nevaeh Scott led Bartlett with 15 points. Carrington Jones added 12 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, and four steals. Raven Sims recorded 12 points including six of eight free throws, four rebounds, and six steals, Mallory Collier chipped in with eight points including four of six free throws, 10 rebounds, and two steals. 6-1 So. Zoey Rixter pulled down seven rebounds.

McKenzie coach John Wilkins started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Kylie Reynolds, 5-7 Sr. Briley Auvenshine, 5-9 Jr. Savannah Davis, 5-5 Jr. Mikaela Reynolds, and 5-7 Sr. Katie Chesser. Wayne County coach Molly Ashley countered with 5-8 Jr. Jacqueline Keaton, 5-8 Sr. Alexis Maghielse, 6-0 So. Blair Baugus, 5-7 Jr. Kenzie Griggs, and 5-7 Sr. Lauren Bryant.

McKenzie defeated Wayne County by the score of 71-54. McKenzie shot 56.5% from the field including 11 of 14 from the three point line. The Rebels connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Wayne County turnovers. Wayne County shot 40.4% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 McKenzie turnovers.

Savannah Davis led McKenzie with 29 points including seven three point baskets, 1 rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and two steals. Mikaela Reynolds added 18 points, four rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. Kylie Reynolds recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Katie Chesser chipped in with seven points including two three point baskets.

Blair Baugus led Wayne County with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and three steals. Alexis Maghielse added 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jacqueline Keaton recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Lauren Bryant chipped in with eight points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Westview coach Brian Hoskins started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Mary Anna Chester, 5-8 Sr. Jada Harrison, 5-9 Sr. Jillian Brigance, 5-6 So. McCall Simms, and 5-7 Jr. Kylee Alexander. McMinn Central coach Johnny Morgan countered with 5-9 Jr. Maddox Mayfield, 5-9 So. McCary Beaty, 5-9 Jr. Molly Masingale, 5-5 So. Reagan Baker, and 5-9 So. Karina Bystry.

Westview defeated McMinn Central by the score of 56-37. Westview shot 41.7% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line. The Chargers connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off eight McMinn Central turnovers. McMinn Central shot 26.5% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Chargers connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Westview turnovers.

Jada Harrison led Westview with 17 points including seven of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, and five assists. McCall Simms added 17 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, two rebounds, and two assists. Mary Anna Chester recorded 12 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds. Kylee Alexander chipped in with seven points including four of four free throws, eight rebounds, and two steals.

Karine Bystry led McMinn Central with 15 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three blocked shots. Molly Masingale added eight points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Maddox Mayfield recorded seven points and three rebounds.
