Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Amayah Maxwell, 5-9 Sr. Jermyra Christian, 6-2 Jr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-4 So. Kate Baker, and 5-7 So. Niah Rhodes. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 So. Tess Nelson, 5-6 Sr. Gracyn Grantz, 5-8 So. Belle Combs, 5-4 8th Grade Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Fr. Anna Clay Denton.

Frederick Douglass defeated Lafayette by the score of 71-48. Frederick Douglass shot 41.5% from the field including 10 of 32 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 40.5% from the field including six of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Niah Rhodes led Frederick Douglass with 16 points including five three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Kate Baker added 15 points including three three point baskets, four assists, and two steals. Jermyra Christian recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Amayah Maxwell chipped in with eight points and three rebounds. 5-8 Jr. Victory Sledge added eight points and five rebounds. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington recorded seven points, 13 rebounds, and three steals.

Tess Nelson led Lafayette with 13 points including three three point baskets, and seven rebounds. Gracyn Grantz added 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. 5-7 Jr. Jackie Tishibangi recorded six points and five rebounds. Belle Combs chipped in with six points and three rebounds.
