Grant County coach Shawn West started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Sarah Russell, 5-7 Sr. Sarah Scroggins, 5-9 Sr. Emily Naranjo, 5-4 Sr. Dakota Rowe, and 5-5 So. Jada Cummins. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central held on to win a close 44-40 decision over Grant County as Bailey Hensley iced the game with a key rebound and two late free throws. Madison Central shot 39.5% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 26.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Braves connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 19 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals. Nataya Strader added 12 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and three steals. Eden Carter recorded 10 points and six rebounds. Brittany Campbell chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Jada Cummins led Grant County with 12 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and three steals. Sarah Russell added 10 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Dakota Rowe recorded five points and six rebounds. Emily Naranjo chipped in with four points and six rebounds.
