Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten. Grant County coach Shawn West countered with 5-9 Sr. Emily Naranjo, 5-7 Sr. Sarah Scroggins, 5-9 Jr. Sarah Russell, 5-4 Sr. Dakota Rowe, and 5-5 So. Jada Cummins.

Madison Southern defeated Grant County by the score of 55-47. Madison Southern held a 39-15 lead in the third quarter but Grant County closed out with a 32-16 run to narrow the margin. Madison Southern shot 38.1% from the field including 10 of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 40.4% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Braves connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Madison Southern turnovers.

5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin came off the bench and had a breakout game leading Madison Southern with 20 points including six three point baskets and five rebounds. Tara Woten added 13 points including six of eight free throws. Ashlan Estep recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Bella Moberly added eight points and six rebounds. Jada Carter and 5-8 Sr. Megan Correll each pulled down seven rebounds.

5-6 8th Grade Olivia Ginn led Grant County with 10 points including two three point baskets. Emily Naranjo added eight points and five rebounds. 5-4 So. Skyler Menefee recorded six points and four rebounds. Dakota Rowe chipped in with five points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
