Ashland Blazer coach Ryan Bonner started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Zander Carter, 6-2 Sr. Tucker Conway, 6-3 Jr. Asher Adkins, 6-1 So. Rheyce DeBoard, and 6-2 Sr. Tristin Davis. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-7 Jt. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 So. Vince Dawson III, 6-11 So. Malachi Moreno, 6-0 So. Christian Martin, and 6-4 So. Gage Richardson.

The score was tied 36-36 at halftime but Great Crossing outscored Ashland Blazer 23-10 in the third quarter and withstood a late rally yo earn a 78-73 victory. The score was tied four times and there were eight lead changes in the game. Great Crossing shot 65.2% from the field including seven of 13 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and committed 21 turnovers. Ashland Blazer shot 44.4% from the field including nine of 34 from beyond the arc. The Tomcats connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 14 turnovers.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 29 points and 15 rebounds. 5-9 So. Junius Burrell added 13 points, four assists, and two steals. Gage Richardson recorded 12 points on four three point baskets and four assists. Vince Dawson III chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and five assists.

Zander Carter led Ashland Blazer with 32 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and four steals. Tucker Conway added 19 points including five three point baskets and four steals. Asher Adkins recorded nine points, five rebounds, and three steals. Rheyce DeBoard added seven points, three rebounds, and five assists.
