Kentucky started the following lineup: Kensley Feltner, Brianna Byars, Destiny Thomas, Haven Ford, and Abby Holtman. Indiana countered with Lailia Hull, McKenna Layden, Riley Makalusky, Karsyn Norman, and Ashlynn Shade.


Indiana led 70-49 after three quarters and held on down the stretch to earn a 92-89 victory over Kentucky/ Indiana shot 43.9% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. They connected on 28 of 38 free throws, pulled down 58 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Kentucky turnovers. Kentucky shot 36.6% from the field including seven of 25 from beyond the arc. They connected on 25 of 36 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 Indiana turnovers.


RaShunda Jones led Indiana with 20 points including 10 of 12 free throws. Saige Stahl added 13 points and nine rebounds. Amber Tretter recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots. Karsyn Norman chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets. Ashlynn Shade recorded nine points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.


Brianna Byars led Kentucky with 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Haven Ford added 18 points including three three point baskets and four steals. Kensley Feltner recorded 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals.
