Nazir Allen, 6-2 Jr. Caleb Jackson, and 6-2 Sr. PJ Hillman.  East Nashville coach Avery Patton countered with 6-2 Jr. Jacolby Summers, 6-1 Sr. Jarrod Taylor, 6-5 Jr. Michael Armstrong, 5-10 Jr. Jordan Crawford, and 6-1 Jr. Jaylen Jones.

 

East Nashville pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Power center by the score of 64-53.  The score was tied 11 times and there were 14 lead changes in the game.  East Nashville shot 43.6% from the field including zero of six from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Power Center turnovers.  Power Center shot 33.8% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 East Nashville turnovers.

Jodarius Robinson led Milan with 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  6-1 So. Carson Pruitt added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Kam Tharpe recorded nine points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Adam Arnold chipped in with nine points including four of seven free throws.

There were five ties and eight lead changes in the game.  Jackson South Side shot 53.3% from the field including one of one from the three point line.  The Hawks connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Knoxville Fulton turnovers.  Knoxville Fulton shot 36.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Falcons connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Jackson South Side turnovers.

Malachi Hale hit a jump hook at the buzzer to give Dobyns Bennett a 70-69 overtime victory over Bartlett.  JR Jacobs had hit a fall back three point basket in the closing seconds for Bartlett to force overtime.  There were three ties and 13 lead changes in this game.  Dobyns Bennett shot 55.1% from the field including nine of 14 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 Bartlett turnovers.  Bartlett shot 50% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Dobyns Bennett turnovers.

Bearden coach Jeremy Parrott started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Walker Kyle, 6-3 Sr. Hayden Moseley, 6-6 Sr. Darian Bailey, 6-1 Sr. Elijah Bredwood, and 6-2 Jr. Jake Poole.  .  Dobyns Bennett coach Chris Poore countered with 6-4 Sr. Malachi Hale, 6-0 Sr. Carter Metz, 6-4 Sr. Jack Browder, 5-8 Jr. Jonavan Gillespie, and 5-9 Jr. Brady Stump.

 

Dobyns Bennett defeated Bearden 69-60 in overtime.  There were four ties in this game.  Dobyns Bennett led 39-24 after three quarters but Bearden outscored the Indians 28-13 in the fourth quarter to knot the score at the end of regulation.  Bearden lost three players (Elijah Bredwood, Darian Bailey, and Hayden Moseley) via the foul route.  Dobyns Bennett shot 41.3% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 25 of 34 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Bearden turnovers.  Bearden shot 33.9% from the field including five of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Dobyns Bennett turnovers.

 

Jack Browder led Dobyns Bennett with 30 points including two three point baskets, 10 of 11 free throws, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Malachi Hale added 16 points including seven of 12 free throws, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Carter Metz recorded seven points and four rebounds.  Brady Stump chipped in with seven points, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Jonavan Gillespie added six points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

 

Hayden Moseley led Bearden with 25 points including two three point baskets, three of three free throws, 11 rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  Elijah Bredwood added 13 points including six of eight free throws, three rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  5-9 Sr. Wyatt Shoemaker recorded nine points including four of four free throws.  Walker Kyle chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Peabody (25-10) vs. East Robertson (27-6) Division I Class A (Championship)

 

Peabody coach Wes Miller started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Isaac Dehaan, 6-2 Sr. Demarkus Kee, 6-4 Jr. Derek Kee, 5-9 Sr. Shon Williams, and 6-2 Sr. Malik Ganaway. 

East Robertson coach Kurt Caton countered with 6-3 Sr. Jordan Barnard, 6-3 Jr. Zechariah Prince, 6-4 So. Elijah Groves, 6-2 Sr. Taylor Groves, and 6-3 Jr. Mason Eidson.

 

East Robertson defeated Peabody by the score of 67-42.  East Robertson shot 45.8% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Peabody turnovers.  Peabody shot 30.8% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Golden Tide connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine East Robertson turnovers.

 

Taylor Groves led East Robertson with 24 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Elijah Groves added 18 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Jordan Barnard recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.

 

Derek Kee led Peabody with 13 points and three rebounds.  Demarkus Kee added 12 points including two three point baskets.  Malik Ganaway recorded six points, nine rebounds, and three steals.
