George Rogers Clark coach Josh Cook started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Tanner Walton, 6-0 Jr. Sam Parrish, 6-7 Jr. Trent Edwards, 5-9 Sr. Aden Slone, and 6-4 Jr. Jerone Morton.  Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-4 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-8 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson.

 

George Rogers Clark defeated Great Crossing by the score of 70-61 in a game that had 11 lead changes and six ties.  GRC shot 45% from the field including nine of 19 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 47.1% from the field including seven of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine GRC turnovers.

 

Jerone Morton led GRC with 16 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and three steals.  6-3 Jr. Tyleik Maxwell added 16 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds.  Trent Edwards recorded 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Aden Slone chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  Tanner Walton recorded five points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

 

Gage Richardson led Great Crossing with 16 points including four thee point baskets.  Vince Dawson added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Junius Burrell recorded 11 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, and five assists.  Malachi Moreno added 10 points, 17 rebounds, five blocked shots, and two steals.
