Frederick Douglass coach Jason Moseley started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Tyson Barrett, 6-0 Jr. Tylon Webb, 6-7 Sr. Shemar O’Roy-Ford, 5-5 Fr. Armelo Boone, and 5-11 Jr. Kai Simpson.  Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon Jr. countered with 6-5 Sr. Terik Mulder, 6-1 Sr. Jaden Green, 6-6 Jr. Jaden Biggers, 6-0 Sr. Andrew Cairel, and 6-0 Sr. J’Marious Lindsay.

 

Frederick Douglass defeated Bryan Station by the score of 86-83.  The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Frederick Douglass shot 61.5% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on 17 of 29 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 25 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 54% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

 

Tylon Webb led Frederick Douglass with 27 points including eight of 10 free throws, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Kai Simpson added 21 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Tyson Barrett recorded 15 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.  Armelo Boone chipped in with 11 points, four assists, and five steals.  Shemar O’Roy-Ford recorded 10 points on five of five from the field, seven rebounds, and three assists.

 

6-1 So. Trenton Cutwright led Bryan Station with 22 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  J’Marious Lindsay added 19 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, and two assists.  Jaden Green recorded 10 points and four assists.  6-6 Sr. Kamuena Bless, Jaden Biggers, and 5-10 Fr. Ethan Dunn each scored eight points.  Terik Mulder recorded six points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.  Andrew Cairel dished out seven assists.
