Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Hudson Sparks, 6-2 Sr. Jack Gohmann, 6-11 Jr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Sr. Blake Busson, and 6-0 So. John Reihhart.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman, 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-8 Fr. Eli Thomas, and 6-0 Sr. Logan Taylor.

Lexington Catholic defeated Lafayette by the score of 79-42.  Lexington Catholic shot 48.5% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 26 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 35.5% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Reece Potter led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Jack Gohmann added 19 points including three three point baskets and six assists.  John Reinhart recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, two assists, and three steals.  Blake Busson chipped in with seven points, six assists, and three steals.

Abe Nelson led Lafayette with 19 points including two three point baskets, nine of 10 free throws, and seven rebounds.
