Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.  Estill County coach Brian Hall countered with 6-1 Sr. Elliot Hardy, 5-10 Sr. Will Isfort, 6-4 So. Kenny Rose, 5-8 Fr. Casey Chaney, and 5-9 So. Tyler Brewer. (Due to injuries and illness Estill County’s rosters were limited to seven players).

Madison Southern defeated Estill County by the score of 79-41.  Madison Southern shot 50.8% from the field including 12 of 26 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Estill County turnovers.  Estill County shot 30.8% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Engineers connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers.

6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan led Madison Southern with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Braden Hudson added 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists.  Nate Turner recorded 10 points and four rebounds.  6-5 Sr. Hezekiah Fogle chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Casen Nobbe added nine points on three three point baskets, two rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  Jay Rose added seven points and eight rebounds.  Blake Simpson chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals.

Kenny Rose led Estill County with eight points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds.  Elliot Hardy added eight points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Casey Chaney recorded seven points including two three point baskets and five assists.  5-9 Fr. Jax Niece also scored seven points.
