Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Katherine Truitt, 5-8 Fr. Abby Hammond, 5-9 So. Lydia Kennedy, 5-7 Jr. Lucy Nash, and 5-7 Sr. Hannah Carlisle.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Fr. Savannah Simpson, 5-10 Sr. Olivia Cathers, 6-1 Sr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Sr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-5 Jr. Gracyn Grantz.

Lafayette defeated Lexington Catholic by the score of 44-37.  The score was tied twice and there were four lead changes in this game.  Lafayette shot 34.9% from the field including one of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 21.6% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored nine points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

Savannah Simpson led Lafayette with 16 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.  Anaya Brown added 14 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Olivia Cathers recorded five points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 18 points including 10 of 14 free throws, 12 rebounds, and two steals.  Lydia Kennedy added 10 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.
