Bardstown coach Amber Courtney started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Addison Riley, 5-6 Sr. Kadence Walls, 6-0 Jr. SeaAira Cooper, 5-5 Fr. Nariyah Crowe, and 5-6 Sr. Jaileyah Cotton.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Fr. Zakiyah Johnson, 5-10 So. Reagan Bender, 6-0 Sr. Alex Wolff, 5-8 Jr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-9 Sr. Olivia Kaufman.

 

Sacred Heart Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Bardstown by the score of 81-60.  The score was tied once and there were four lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 57.8% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected were zero of one from the free throw line, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 16 Bardstown turnovers.  Bardstown shot 42.9% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Reagan Bender led Sacred Heart with 24 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Zakiyah Johnson added 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Triniti Ralston recorded 15 points, four assists, and four steals.  6-3 So. Angelina Pelayo chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. 

 

Jaileyah Cotton led Bardstown with 25 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Kadence Walls added 21 points including two three point baskets and five of seven free throws.
