Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 Jr. Tyra Young, 6-1 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-4 Sr. Brianna Penney, and 5-6 8th Grade Belle Banner. North Laurel coach Ed Mahan countered with 5-9 So. Gracie McKnight, 5-6 Fr. Bella Sizemore, 6-3 So. Chloe McKnight, 5-7 Jr. Emily Sizemore, and 5-6 Sr. Hailee Valentine.
North Laurel defeated Scott County by the score of 77-42. North Laurel shot 43.3% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Jaguars connected on 12 of 12 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 17 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 34% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on one of three free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 North Laurel turnovers.
Emily Sizemore led North Laurel with 19 points including three three point baskets, six of six free throws, eight rebounds, and four steals. Chloe McKnight added 14 points and seven rebounds. Hailee Valentine recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.
Kenady Tompkins led Scott County with 13 points, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Tyra Young added 12 points and four rebounds. Belle Banner recorded eight points and four rebounds. Maleiyah Moore added nine points, four rebounds, and three steals.
