Simon Kenton defeated Campbell County by the score of 41-24. Simon Kenton recorded 24 first downs and 408 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized six times for 60 yards and lost a fumble. Campbell County recorded 19 first downs and 367 yards of total offense. The Camels were penalized five times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
Jayden Lawson led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 107 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Chase Crone carried the ball 14 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Crone completed 14 of 20 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Williams caught seven passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Lawson caught one pass for 47 yards and a touchdown. Luke Morrison recorded two receptions for 27 yards. Zeb Sand returned two punts for 17 yards. Chase Williams returned two kickoffs for 26 yards. Chase Williams intercepted a pass.
Camden Abell led Campbell County’s ground game with 66 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Nate Smith carried the ball 17 times for 49 yards and two touchdowns. Nate Smith completed 16 of 27 passes for 235 yards with one interception. Keegan Hill caught nine passes for 158 yards. Colton Peoples added five receptions for 35 yards. Kyle Hoeh recorded two receptions for 42 yards. Jacob Fahlbush returned three kickoffs for 61 yards. Carson Guy returned two kickoffs for 35 yards. Keegan Hill returned one kickoff for 21 yards.
