Cooper defeated Conner by the score of 43-7. Cooper recorded 20 first downs and 391 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 30 yards. Conner recorded 12 first downs and 187 yards of total offense. They were penalized twice for 25 yards and lost a fumble.
Brendon Tye led Cooper’s ground game with 202 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Eli White carried the ball eight times for 33 yards. Drew Warth completed 10 of 13 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Alex Turner caught four passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Jack Lonaker added three receptions for 43 yards. Austin Alexander caught one pass for 25 yards. Alex Turner and Jayce Hotchkiss each returned a punt for 19 and 18 yards respectively. Brendon Tye led the defense with five solo tackles. Jack Lonaker added three solo and four assisted tackles. Jack Harmeyer recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in lost yardage. Xander Taylor scores on a 42 yard fumble recovery return.
Alex Castrucci led Conner’s ground game with 68 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Clayton Melcher carried the ball eight times for 61 yards. Alex Castrucci completed eight of 15 passes for 56 yards. Brennan Kahle caught two passes for 20 yards. Clayton Melcher added two receptions for 16 yards. Cody Crawford recorded one reception for 12 yards. Terry Phillips returned three kickoffs for 50 yards. Carter Lindermann led the defense with 11 solo and one assisted tackles. Alex Castrucci added four solo and two assisted tackles. Clayton Melcher recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Conner was without the services of Alijah Thompson their leading rusher.
