Ashland Blazer coach Jason Mays started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Cole Villers, 6-2 Fr. Zander Carter, 6-8 Sr. Sean Marcum, 5-11 So. Colin Porter, and 6-1 Jr. Ethan Sellars. Boyle County coach Dennie Webb countered with 6-3 Sr. Jagger Gillis, 6-1 Jr. Luke Imfeld, 6-3 Jr. Hagan Webb, 5-11 So. Owen Barnes, and 6-1 Sr. Luke Sheperson.
Ashland Blazer shot a sizzling 60.9% from the field in an 80-44 rout of Boyle County. Ashland Blazer connected on 10 of 17 from the three point line, 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 17 Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 43.2% from the field including zero of seven from beyond the arc. The Rebels connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Ashland Blazer turnovers.
Ethan Sellars led Ashland Blazer with 20 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, and three rebounds. Cole Villers added 20 points, five of five free throws, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Zander Carter recorded 18 points including four three point baskets, two rebounds, and five assists. Colin Porter chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
Luke Imfeld led Boyle County with 12 points and two steals. Luke Sheperson added nine points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.
