Central coach DeShawn Pendleton started the following lineup: 5-11 So. JaLa Douglas, 5-8 Sr. Navaria Green, 6-0 Jr. Briontanay Marshall, 5-6 Jr. Dejah Armstrong, and 5-6 Jr. Amaya Asher.  Male coach Maurice Ponder countered with 5-6 Jr. Darian Griggs, 5-6 Jr. Alexis Carr, 5-10 So. Makiya West, 5-4 Jr. Makiya Grinter, and 5-4 So. KaNiah Edelen.

 

Central defeated Male by the score of 65-58.  There were three lead changes and two ties in this game.  Central shot 43.5% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Jackets connected on 23 of 31 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 24 Male turnovers.  Male shot 35.2% from the field including three of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 17 of 34 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 23 Central turnovers.

 

Amaya Asher led Central with 22 points including six of eight free throws, two rebounds, and three assists.  5-11 Sr. Taylor Price added 12 points including seven of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  6-0 Sr. Wanda Stevenson recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Dejah Armstrong chipped in with nine points including five of six free throws.

 

Makya Grinter led Male with 20 points including two three point baskets, six of 13 free throws, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  5-9 Fr. Maklya Humphrey added 10 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.  Makiya West recorded 10 points and three rebounds.  Alexis Carr chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
