Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Allison Wallace, 5-5 Sr. Kourtesy Lee, 6-0 Fr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-1 Jr. Bradley Price, and 5-5 Sr. Kasia Parks.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Sr. Kaylie Wise, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Penney, 6-0 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-6 Jr. Emma Price.

 

Scott County defeated Frederick Douglass by the score of 44-37.  There were six lead changes and two ties in this game.  Scott County shot 32.5% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Frederick Douglass turnovers.  Frederick Douglass shot 24.1% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Broncos connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored seven points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

 

Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 12 points including two three point baskets and two assists.  Kenady Tompkins added 10 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists.  Emma Price recorded seven points and four rebounds.  5-6 So. Tyra Young chipped in with seven points and three rebounds.  Brianna Penney added six points, nine rebounds, and two steals.

 

Allison Wallace led Frederick Douglass with 16 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds.  Ayanna-Sarai Darrington added 10 points and 13 rebounds.
