Somerset coach Casey Rexroat started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Madison Garland, 5-5 So. Kate Bruner, 5-9 So. Makenzie Fisher, 5-2 Sr. Addi Bowling, and 5-7 So. Grace Bruner.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Olivia Cathers, 5-7 Jr. Lauren Walton, 6-1 Jr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Jr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-7 So. Kylie Noble.

 

Somerset defeated Lafayette by the score of 54-42.  Somerset shot 31.4% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Briar Jumpers connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 27.5% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Somerset turnovers.

 

Addi Bowling led Somerset with 14 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and three steals.  Kate Bruner added 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Grace Bruner recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Makenzie Fisher chipped in with nine points including five of five free throws and four rebounds.  Madison Garland added six points and eight rebounds.  5-3 So. Taya Mills recorded five points, six rebounds, and two assists.

 

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 19 points and 15 rebounds.  Olivia Cathers added 16 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.
