Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Campbell DeYoung, 6-2 Sr. Daniel Kinley, 6-5 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-10 Sr. Kobe Blake, and 5-10 Sr. Will Stanfield.  Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-2 Sr. Zach Stahlman, 6-2 Sr. Ethan Hodge, 6-4 Sr. Will McMillan, 6-1 Jr.Miles Franklin, and 6-2 So. Cam McClain.

 

Trinity defeated Lafayette by the score of 72-65.  Trinity led Lafayette by the score of 63-42 in the third quarter but Lafayette closed out the game on a 23-9.  Trinity shot 54.4% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 56.5% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Trinity turnovers.

 

Will McMillan led Trinity with 15 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Zach Stahlman added 14 points and three assists.  Ethan Hodge recorded 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-11 So. CJ Walls also scored 11 points and five rebounds.  Miles Franklin chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

 

6-2 Sr. Torri Turner led Lafayette with 14 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Will Stanfield added 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Abe Nelson chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Campbell DeYoung recorded eight points, four rebounds, and three steals.
