Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Kaylie Wise, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Penney, 6-0 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-6 Jr. Emma Price. Bryan Station coach Brian Hall countered with 5-10 Jr. Tania Woodall, 5-8 Jr. TaShawna Jackson, 6-2 Sr. Olea Woodall, 5-2 Sr. Natoria Godoy, and 5-4 Sr. Escarlis Perez.
Scott County attempted 95 shots from the field and pulled down 71 rebounds in an 80-42 rout of Bryan Station tonight. Scott County shot 34.7% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 10 of 24 free throws, pulled down 71 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 21.6% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Scott County turnovers.
Kenady Tompkins led Scott County with 24 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Maleiyah Moore added 16 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two steals. Emma Price chipped in with 10 points and four steals. Kaylie Wise recorded seven points, 14 rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals. 5-10 Fr. Irene Persley added six points and 13 rebounds
Natoria Godoy led Bryan Station with 13 points and four rebounds. Tania Woodall added 11 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-8 Fr. Victory Sledge recorded seven points and eight rebounds. Olea Woodall pulled down six rebounds.
