Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Sr. Elias Richardson, 5-8 Sr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2  Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-3 Sr. Darik Holman, 6-2 Sr. Harrison Lynch, 5-8 Jr. Sincere Madison, and 6-1 Jr. Kanye Henderson.

 

Henry Clay won the battle of the boards (42-23) in a 69-57 victory over Scott County.  Henry Clay outscored Scott County by a combined 40-17 margin in the second and third quarters.  Henry Clay shot 50% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 41.1% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 24 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Darik Holman added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Kanye Henderson recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. 

 

Elias Richardson led Scott County with 16 points and four rebounds.  Isaiah Haynes added 16 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  Chase Grigsby recorded 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
