Rowan County coach Matt Stokes started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Haley Rose, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Haynes, 5-6 Jr. Kessansey Melton, 5-5 So. Katie Chandler, and 5-5 So. Haven Ford.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams.

Great Crossing defeated Rowan County by a score of 89-82 in a high scoring entertaining contest in which the teams combined for 23 made three point baskets.  Great Crossing shot 48.3% from the field including 12 of 27 from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Rowan County turnovers.  Rowan County shot 43.9% from the field including 11 of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Vikings connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Great Crossing turnovers.

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 26 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Braylee McMath added 25 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and six assists.  Rachel Smith chipped in with 13 points.  Ava Schureman recorded 12 points and five rebounds.  Raegan Barrett added 10 points and six rebounds.

Haven Ford led Rowan County with 37 points including five three point baskets, 14 of 14 free throws, 11 rebounds, and three steals.  Katie Chandler added 20 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Haley Rose recorded 15 points including three three point baskets and four of four free throws.
