Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Jack Gohmann, 6-1 Sr. Ryan Russell, 6-10 So. Reece Potter, 5-11 Jr. Blake Busson, and 6-2 Sr. Ben Johnson. Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 So. Tyler Hall, 6-1 8th Grade Andersen Green, 6-4 Jr. Pierce Ragland, 5-9 Jr. Sawyer West, and 6-1 Jr. Jeffrey Selby.
Lexington Catholic scored 32 points off 23 Lexington Christian Academy turnovers in an 86-53 victory over the Eagles. Lexington Catholic shot 52.7% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 20 of 25 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and held a 38-8 advantage on points in the paint. LCA shot 34.8% from the field including 10 of 26 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 18 points including three three point baskets, three assists, and two steals. Jack Gohmann added 18 points including five of six free throws, five rebounds, and five assists. 6-4 So. Hudson Sparks recorded 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Ryan Russell chipped in with 15 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.
5-11 Sr. Nathan Hall led LCA with 15 points including four three point baskets. Andersen Green added 10 points including two three point baskets. Tyler Hall recorded six points, five rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots.
