Lexington Catholic defeated Lafayette by the score of 43-0. Lexington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 375 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized three times for 16 yards. Lafayette recorded eight first downs and 123 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized five times for 33 yards.
Darin Eldridge led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 48 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Blake Busson carried the ball once for 44 yards. Walker Hall added 43 yards on three carries. Jack Gohmann carried the ball seven times for 10 yards and two touchdowns. Jack Gohmann completed six of 10 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns. JD Woodall caught two passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Klein added two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. Blake Busson caught a 97 yard touchdown pass. Jackson Corbett returned one punt for 63 yards. JD Woodall returned one punt for 13 yards and one kickoff return for 50 yards. Lance Wasik led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards. Jackson Corbett added three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 15 yard loss. Jack Monday recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.
Owen Hellard led Lafayette’s ground game with 50 yards on nine carries. Hayden Dawahare completed five of 15 passes for 89 yards. Noah King caught three passes for 43 yards. Tanner Pace added one reception for 45 yards. JaeWon Kendrick returned four kickoffs for 122 yards with a long return of 54 yards. Mike Taylor and Caleb Bryant led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles each. Braden Kettenring recorded two solo tackles that resulted in losses totaling 14 yards.
