Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Jr. Gretchen Hammitt, 5-9 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum.
Great Crossing pulled away in the second half to defeat Madison Central by a score of 59-44. There were four ties and nine lead changes in this game. Great Crossing shot 37.9% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 Madison Central turnovers. Braylee McMath led Great Crossing with 25 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and nine steals. Ava Schureman added 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two steals. Timothi Williams recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Taleya Todd led Madison Central with 13 points. Jekauri McKeithen added 11 points, 15 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Eve Carter recorded nine points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
