Scott County vs. Great Crossing (Boys)

Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Elias Richardson, 6-1 Jr. Mikaleb Coffey, 6-6 Sr. Terrin Hamilton, 5-10 Jr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-0 Sr. Aaron Leake.  Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-2 Sr. Michael McKenzie, 6-2 So. Tye Schureman, 6-3  So. Kalib Perry, 5-8 Sr. Neil Baker, and 6-1 Sr. KJ Tucker.

 

Scott County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 68-49.  Scott County shot 49% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 39.6% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

 

Aaron Leake led Scott County with 21 points, two assists, and two steals.  Elias Richardson added 19 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Terrin Hamilton recorded 16 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

 

6-8 Sr. Jaylen Barber led Great Crossing with 15 points and eight rebounds.  6-4 Fr. Tim Fuller II added 15 points including three three point baskets. KJ Tucker chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
