Russell county coach Brett Blankenship started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Star Marcum, 5-8 So. Sophia Shearer, 5-10 Fr. Hannah Yates, 5-3 Sr. Shiaynn Elkins, and 5-6 Jr. Juliah Bault.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Jr. Kenady Tompkins, 6-0 Jr. Kaylie Wise, 6-3 Sr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Sr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-6 So. Emma Price.

Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Russell County by the score of 80-59.  Scott County shot 41.1% from the field including eight of 26 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 21 Russell County turnovers.  Russell County shot 34.7% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Lakers connected on 21 of 34 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Scott County turnovers.

Malea Williams led Scott County with 20 points including two three point baskets, 13 rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.  Morgan DeFoor added 20 points including two three point baskets, 13 assists, and three steals.  Kenady Tompkins recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.  Emma Price chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.

Star Marcum led Russell County with 22 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Juliah Bault added 22 points including 11 of 12 free throws.  Sophia Shearer recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
