East Jessamine coach Nick Barton started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. DeQuante Jackson, 6-1 Jr. Zion Thomas, 6-4 Sr. Keegan Lockhart, 5-10 Sr. Michael Powell, and 5-10 Jr. Ben McNew.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-0 Sr. Samuel Lee, 6-1 Sr. Chad Fugate, 6-4 So. Nate Turner, 5-5 Sr. Colby Sebastian, and 5-11 Sr. Hunter Buchanan.

DeQuante Jackson scored a field goal with 3.4 seconds remaining on the clock to give East Jessamine a 66-65 come-from-behind victory over Madison Southern.  Madison Southern led by 13 in the first quarter and still maintained a 51-49 lead after three quarters.  The score was tied twice and there were five lead changes in the game.  East Jessamine held a 38-26 advantage in rebounds and enjoyed a 17-7 margin in second chance points.

East Jessamine shot 46.2% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on nine of 14 free throws and scored nine points off 12 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 40.7% from the field including 13 of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 East Jessamine turnovers.

Ben McNew led East Jessamine with 23 points including seven three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Zion Thomas added 13 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Keegan Lockhart recorded nine points and five rebounds.  DeQuante Jackson added eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists. 

Chad Fugate led Madison Southern with 21 points including four three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Nate Turner added 16 points including four three point baskets and 11 rebounds.  Samuel Lee recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  Hunter Buchanan chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and six rebounds.
