Frederick Douglass coach Kurt Young started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. DaShawn Jackson, 6-1 Sr. Jaylan Green, 6-5 Sr. Bilal Chhadh, 5-8 Sr. Jayden Henderson, and 6-0 Sr. Aidan Reid.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr.Marques Warrick, 6-1 Sr. Sebian Dillard, 6-1 Sr.Marquis Mackey, 5-8 Sr. Terron Hughes, and 5-10 Jr. Kanye Henderson.

 

Henry Clay raced out to a 16-9 lead in the first quarter on their way to a 79-68 victory over Frederick Douglass.  Henry Clay shot 46.4% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 20 of 28 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off seven Frederick Douglass turnovers.  Frederick Douglass shot 40.4% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Broncos connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off six Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Marquis Mackey led Henry Clay with 25 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Marques Warrick added 17 points including eight of eight free throws, four rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Sebian Dillard recorded 15 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two steals.  6-6 Sr. Jackson Phillips added seven points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Terron Hughes recorded eight points, five rebounds, and five assists.

 

DaShawn Jackson led Frederick Douglass with 27 points including three three point baskets, six of seven free throws and 10 rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Khamri McMullen added 10 points.  Jaylan Green recorded nine points, five rebounds, and three assists.
