Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Darik Holman, 6-1 Sr. Sebian Dillard, 6-3 Sr. Marques Warrick, 6-1 Sr. Marquis Mackey, and 6-0 So. Kanye Henderson.  Eastern coach David Henley countered with 6-4 Jr. Zach Bird, 6-1 Jr. Ben Craig, 6-6 So. James Jewell, 5-11 So. Stacey Anderson, and 6-0 So. Christian Spalding.

Eastern took a 23-11 lead in the second quarter and maintained their advantage in a 58-46 victory over Henry Clay.  Eastern shot 50% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.6% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Eastern turnovers. 

Christian Spalding led Eastern with 17 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and five assists..  James Jewell added 15 points and eight rebounds.  Ben Craig recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.

Marques Warrick led Henry Clay with 16 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Sebian Dillard and Kanye Henderson each scored 10 points.  Marquis Mackey added six points and nine rebounds.
