Anderson County tied the game at 14-14 late in the third quarter and scored 14 unanswered points in the final quarter to defeat Lincoln County by a score of 28-14. Anderson County recorded 20 first downs and 355 yards of total offense. The Bearcats were penalized five times for 37 yards and had a pass intercepted. Lincoln County recorded 13 first downs and 311 yards of total offense. The Patriots were penalized seven times for 54 yards and had two passes intercepted.
Zach Labhart led Anderson County’s ground game with 149 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Jagger Gillis carried the ball 12 times for 68 yards and a touchdown. Jagger Gillis completed 10 of 17 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Sam Herrod caught four passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. Kynan Russell added two receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown. Caleb Robinson punted four times for a 43.5 average with a long punt of 55 yards and one punt inside the 20 yard line. Zach Labhart returned one kickoff for 29 yards. Zach Labhart led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted one pass he returned six yards. Jagger Gillis and Chase Fink each added three solo and two assisted tackles. Sam Herrod chipped in with three solo tackles and intercepted a pass. Darien Dearinger recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.
Zack Hazlett led Lincoln County’s ground game with 75 yards on nine carries. Dylan Burchfield carried the ball seven times for 27 yards. Nick Harris added 21 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Nick Harris completed 12 of 23 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown. Clayton Davis caught eight passes for 77 yards. Zack Hazlett added three receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. Loren Melton kicked off three times for a 59.7 average with two touchbacks. Clayton Davis returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Robert Bowman led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles. Mykah Turpin added six solo and two assisted tackles. Levi Daugherty recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Justin Bryant intercepted a pass.
