Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-2 Sr. Javen Hardin, 5-10 Sr. Evan Dreux, 6-9 Jr. Ray Surratt, 5-5 So. Daniel Kinley, and 5-8 Sr. Caleb True.
Lafayette defeated Frederick Douglass by a score of 62-60. The score was tied twice with three lead changes. Lafayette shot 40% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 20 of 28 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 43.4% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.
