Woodford County vs. Scott County (Boys)

Woodford County coach Ryan Wilson started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Corey George, 6-1 Sr. Brandon Cromwell, 6-2 So. Hunter Penn, 5-8 Jr. Anthony Tabor, and 5-8 Sr. Benjamin Nash.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Kobi Harris, 6-1 Sr. Bryce Long, 6-5 Jr. Terrin Hamilton, 5-9 Sr. Diablo Stewart, and 6-0 Sr. Glenn Covington.

 

Scott County defeated Woodford County by a score of 93-56.  Scott County shot 60.7% from the field including 16 of 28 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 21 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 43.5% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

 

5-9 Sr. Cam Fluker led Scott County with a career high 29 points including eight three point baskets.  Fluker was 10 of 12 from the field including eight of 10 from beyond the arc and one of two free throws.  Glenn Covington added 26 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists.  Diablo Stewart recorded 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.  Bryce Long chipped in with 10 points.

 

Brandon Cromwell led Woodford County with 14 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Justin Alexander added nine points.  Hunter Penn recorded eight points and nine rebounds.  Corey George also scored eight points.
