Male coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Cameron Browning, 5-9 So. Alana Striverson, 6-0 Sr. Joelle Johnson, 5-6 Fr. Kynidi Striverson, and 5-7 Sr. Destiny Combs.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 6-0 Jr. Paige Taylor, 5-7 Sr. Jalyn Shorter, 6-1 Jr. TaZiah Jenks, 5-5 Jr. Hope Sivori, and 5-9 Sr. Regan Berger.

Mercy Academy defeated Male by a score of 73-67.  Mercy Academy shot 38.2% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 26 of 34 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Male turnovers.  Male shot 38.9% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Mercy Academy turnovers.

TaZiah Jenks led Mercy Academy with 29 points including 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down seven rebounds, and blocked two shots.  Hope Sivori added 24 points including four three point baskets, six of six free throws, and five rebounds.  Jalyn Shorter chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.  Paige Taylor pulled down eight rebounds.

Alana Striverson led Male with 16 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Destiny Combs added 15 points.  Joelle Johnson recorded 13 points and 13 rebounds.  Cameron Browning added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
