Clay County defeated Rockcastle County by a score of 47-43. Clay County shot 38.2% from the field including three of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. Rockcastle County shot 37.6% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rockets connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.
5-9 Jr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 19 points including eight of nine free throws, three rebounds, and three blocked shots. 5-8 Sr. Shelby Phillips added 14 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. 5-9 Sr. Summer Parker recorded 13 points and five rebounds.
5-10 So. Casey Coleman led Rockcastle County with 15 points. 5-11 Jr. Mackenzie Himes added eight points and nine rebounds. 5-10 8th Grade Keelee King recorded eight points and eight rebounds. 5-6 Sr. Kassi Lay chipped in with six points.
