Southwestern vs. Mercy Academy (Girls)

Mercy Academy controlled the boards (36-17) in an 81-69 victory over Southwestern. Mercy Academy shot 50.9% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 21 of 22 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and seven points off 11 Southwestern turnovers. Southwestern shot 45.1% from the field including nine of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warriors connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Mercy Academy turnovers.
5-9 Sr. Regan Berger led Mercy Academy with 18 points including two three point baskets, and nine rebounds. 6-1 Jr. TaZiah Jenks added 17 points and nine rebounds. 5-5 Jr. Hope Sivori recorded 16 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and seven assists. 6-0 Jr. Paige Taylor added 16 points and six rebounds. 5-9 So. Alexa Breedlove also reached double digits with 10 points.
5-8 Jr. Kennedy Harris led Southwestern with 16 points including four three point baskets. 5-10 Jr. Regi Cundiff also scored 16 points including six of six free throws. 5-9 Fr. Kylie Foreman recorded eight points and five rebounds. 5-6 So. Alexa Smiddy also scored eight points including two three point baskets. 5-9 Sr. Kallie Sheron chipped in with eight points. 5-4 Jr. Jenna Wood recorded eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.
