Conner coach Aaron Stamm started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Maddie Burcham, 5-8 Sr. Joy Strange, 6-0 Jr. Maddie Drummonds, 5-4 Sr. Courtney Hurst, and 5-5 Sr. Savannah Jordan.  Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-10 Jr. Lexi Taylor, 5-8 Jr. Caroline Scott, 5-11 Jr. Kennedy Griffin, 5-6 Sr. Emmy Ralph, and 5-7 Sr. Allie Rae Thompson.

Conner ran through the gauntlet of Central, Sacred Heart Academy, Eastern, and finally Bullitt East defeating the Lady Chargers by a score of 66-59 to capture the championship.  Conner led 15-3 in the first quarter but Bullitt East rallied and the score was tied 47-47 entering the final quarter.  The Lady Cougars had one more run left and outscored Bullitt East 19-12 in the final quarter to earn the championship.  There were four lead changes and two ties in the game.

Conner shot 46.5% from the field including 12 of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Cougars connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 41.5% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Conner turnovers.

Courtney Hurst led Conner with 27 points including seven three point baskets.  Joy Strange added 15 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Savannah Jordan recorded 14 points including two three point baskets.  Maddie Burcham chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.

Lexi Taylor led Bullitt East with 16 points and five rebounds.  Emmy Ralph also scored 16 points including four three point baskets.  Caroline Scott recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
