Garrett Dennis may not wear a cape but he has put together a “Superman” season this year which culminated in a 37-20 victory over Scott County for the title.  Dennis ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns and passed for another 113 yards.  Male recorded 19 first downs and 374 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized five times for 28 yards.  Scott County recorded 12 first downs and 255 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 60 yards.

Garrett Dennis led Male’s ground game with 188 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.  Vincel Anthony carried the ball 11 times for 75 yards and two touchdowns.  Garrett Dennis completed 10 of 13 passes for 113 yards.  Cainel Isom caught four passes for 38 yards.  Izayah Cummings caught three passes for 25 yards.  Cainel Isom returned one kickoff for 33 yards.  Joe Kuerzi led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  Chaz Webster added five solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.

Bronson Brown led Scott County’s ground game with 72 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries.  Austin Barnett carried the ball 14 times for 61 yards.  Cade McKee completed four of seven passes for 108 yards.  Glenn Covington caught three passes for 95 yards.  Austin Barnett returned four kickoffs for 142 yards with a long return of 79 yards.  Berk Watts led the defense with 10 solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  Bryan Hudson added five solo and four assisted tackles.
