Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Will Hacker, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Johnson, 6-7 Sr. Kyle Rode, 5-10 Sr. Baylor Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Pearce Dalton. Paris coach Terence Brooks countered with 5-10 Jr. Caleb Johnson, 5-9 Sr. Travis Strings, 6-6 Sr. Jalen Byars, 5-8 So. Ricqiece Washington, and 5-9 Jr. Jamaun Clark.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Paris by a score of 64-48. LCA shot a sizzling 61.4% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, scored 15 points off 11 Paris turnovers, and held a 40-16 advantage on points in the paint. Paris shot 41% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Greyhounds connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 LCA turnovers.
Kyle Rode led LCA with 39 points including two three point baskets, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Matthew Johnson added 12 points including two three point baskets.
Ricqiece Washington led Paris with 15 points including three three point baskets. Jalen Byars added 11 points and five rebounds. Jamaun Clark recorded six points, six rebounds, and three assists. Caleb Johnson scored seven points.
