Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Racquael Reese, 5-9 Jr. Regan Berger, 6-1 So. Ta’Ziah Jenks, 5-3 Jr. Sydney Rivette, and 5-5 So. Hope Sivori.  Assumption coach Amy Siegel countered with 5-11 So Jacqueline Raque, 5-9 Sr. Taylor Allen, 6-0 Sr. Mary Bringard, 5-7 So. Reese Sexton, and 5-8 So. Payton Cronen.

Mercy Academy raced out to a 14-2 first quarter lead on their way to a 56-36 victory over Assumption.  Mercy shot 35.2% from the field including two of 16 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 25.5% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Mercy turnovers.

Sydney Rivette led Mercy with 19 points including two three point baskets.  Ta’Ziah Jenks added 18 points, 15 rebounds, and three steals.  Hope Sivori recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Racquael Reese chipped in with nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Taylor Allen led Assumption with seven points.  5-4 Jr. Maggie Metzger also scored seven points and pulled down four rebounds.  Payton Cronen added six points, four rebounds, and three assists.  6-1 So. Madalynn Nalley pulled down seven rebounds.
