Danville coach Clifford Berry started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Kirby Alcorn, 5-6 So. Carolina Gonzales,  5-6 Fr. Madison Terrell, Ayanna Burnette, and 5-5 Jr. Ivy Turner.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-8 Sr. Braxton Price, 5-7 Jr. Kiya Thompson, 5-8 Sr. Cheyenne Jones, 5-3 Jr. Christian Gatewood, and 5-4 Sr. Alexis Lutz.

Henry Clay outscored Danville 27-14 in the third quarter on their way to a 62-52 victory.  There were seven lead changes and six ties in the game.  Henry Clay shot 37.3% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 32 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Danville turnovers.  Danville shot 35.4% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Admirals connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 26 Henry Clay turnovers.

Braxton Price led Henry Clay with 21 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Oriona Woods added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Ivy Turner led Danville with 34 points including 14 of 21 free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-6 So. Nancy Gonzales added eight points including two three point baskets.
