George Rogers Clark held Paul Laurence Dunbar to three first downs and three yard of total offense in a 17-0 victory. George Rogers Clark recorded nine first downs and 251 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized four times for 21 yards and lost three fumbles. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded three first downs and three yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 62 yards.
Natavius Thomas led George Rogers Clark’s ground attack with 137 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Martavious Hooten carried the ball seven times for 43 yards. Pierce Nesbitt completed four of eight passes for 66 yards. Jaden Farris caught two passes for 26 yards. Seth Boyken added one reception for 35 yards. Jacob Smith led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses 19 yards. Jehdon Jenkins added five solo and one assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 27 yards.
Darren Edmond led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 20 yards on three carries. Joe Walker carried the ball seven times for 19 yards. Tanner Cox completed three of nine passes for zero net yards. Darren Edmond caught two passes for two yards. Salvador Bodadil led the defense with eight solo tackles. Tyler Browning recovered a fumble he returned 28 yards. Shawn Kimble and Cole Haney each recovered a fumble.
