Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Dustin Gerald, 6-1 Sr. Michael Roberts, 6-7 So. Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Jr. Isaiah Minter, and 5-10 Jr. Jacori Miller. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-6 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-4 Sr. Cooper Watts, 6-0 So. Lorenzo Williams, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long.
Scott County led Madison Central 18-15 in the second quarter then went on a 20-0 run to establish control on their way to a 67-39 victory. Scott County shot 52.1% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 31.8% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.
Cooper Robb led Scott County with 16 points including two three point baskets and five assists. Bryce Long added 14 points, three assists, and three steals. Lorenzo Williams chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists. Michael Moreno recorded eight points, 13 rebounds, and three assists.
Isaiah Cozart led Madison Central with 10 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. Isaiah Minter added seven points and four steals. Dustin Gerald recorded six points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Michael Roberts also scored six points.
