Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Lindsey Johns, 5-10 Sr. Charity Mack, 6-0 Sr. Mallie Cornett, 5-4 Jr. Bailee Vanover, and 5-7 Sr. Kasi Schneid.  Madison Southern assistant coach Donnie Hunley countered with 6-1 Sr. Savannah Fallis, 5-10 Sr. Conner Coyle, 5-11 Sr. Marley Lawson, 5-3 8^th Grade Samantha Cornelison, and 5-6 Jr. Ashlyn Clark.

Madison Central defeated Madison Southern 48-42 in a hard fought contest to capture the district championship.  Madison Central shot 37.2% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 31.5% from the field including seven of 30 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on one of two free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored six points off seven Madison Central turnovers. 

Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 17 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Bailee Vanover added 15 points and five steals.  Mallie Cornett recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Kasi Schneid chipped in with five points, nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

Marley Lawson led Madison Southern with 10 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Keri Thorn added nine points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Savannah Fallis recorded seven points and five rebounds.  Ashlyn Clark chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, six rebounds, and six assists.  Conner Coyle added four points and 10 rebounds.
